Artwork

 Inspired by Autism

Heart and SoulHeart and Soul
Natalie age 14 in South Carolina

In a project for school Natalie created this piece and dedicates it to her older brother Anthony who has Autism.

I found this piece while searching the keyword “Autism” of deviantArt, and was immediately taken by it colors and intense message. The blue figuring is leading the pink, meaning to me that her life is lead and inspired by her brother.

I am grateful that she gave permission to feature this on my site.

You can find this image and many more in her gallery. LINK

Autism
Ann age 21

This is another piece I found while searching for “Autism” on deviantArt Ann is the sister of three Autistic siblings.  Though living with those with Autism can be difficult, this piece shows dedication to her siblings. I especially love hand drawn pieces because real thought goes into them. You can find Ann also on deviant art. LINK

Autism Poster Design
Evan age 20

Yet another piece from deviantArt that I found while browsing “Autism”.

I especially like this because it shows a light behind the puzzle. It proves that once the puzzle can be solved and put away, light and hope will shine completely. I also love the colors. Autism Puzzles are normally associated with many colors, which can be overwhelming where as this features a green theme.

Find Evan’s other works in his online gallery.

Autism
David

This was originally a doodle by a former teacher. A child looked at this and thought it was a perfect description of the mind of an Autistic person. You can find more art by David on deviantArt, like those above. LINK

Autoel
Stav age 20

This picture was done for an art exhibit to show how a mentally handicapped person is trapped. Though the key is right there he does not contain the ability to put the two together. He named this Autoel after Autism.

As a parent of Autism, I agree that ASD children are angels and sometimes weighed down by their condition.

You can find more work by Stav on his gallery.

Autism 2
Serdna age 21 Puerto Rico

Though we like to view our Autistic loved ones as whole people, in truth part of their lives have been taken away by Autism. It is a never ending question that parents are begging for answers.

Serdna put his heart into this because he has an Autistic brother, and in Puerto Rico there are not as many options for his mother and brother to pursue.

More work by Serdna can be found at his gallery found on deviantArt. Link

Eyes of Autism
Brittany age 21 United States

This abstract painting was done for an English Class assignment to depict how music effects Autism.

As a music lover I really appreciate the thoughts behind this. The use of vivid and contrasting colors draws the attention in and creates thought.

You can find  Brittany and more art by her at her gallery on deviantArt. link
